课程简介
This course introduces the central principles of electricity and magnetism in a calculus-based framework suitable for science and engineering students. Major topics include electric charge, Coulomb interaction, electric field, Gauss's law, electric potential, capacitance, dielectric media, current, resistance, direct-current circuits, magnetic fields, magnetic forces, Ampere's law, electromagnetic induction, inductance, alternating-current circuits, and Maxwell's equations. The course emphasizes quantitative reasoning, problem solving, conceptual interpretation of field phenomena, and the connection between mathematical models and physical systems. Structured seminar discussion and guided practice are used to strengthen analytical skills in solving electromagnetic problems relevant to subsequent study in physics and engineering.
