课程简介
Calculus II for Business and Economics introduces advanced calculus tools used to model, analyze, and solve real-world business and economic problems. The course focuses on integration, applications of definite integrals, multivariable functions, partial derivatives, optimization, and basic differential equations.
Students will learn how calculus supports decision-making in areas such as marginal analysis, revenue and cost modeling, consumer and producer surplus, profit maximization, growth models, and economic equilibrium. Emphasis is placed on applying mathematical concepts to practical business scenarios rather than purely theoretical proofs.
By the end of the course, students should be able to use calculus to interpret economic models, optimize business outcomes, and communicate quantitative insights clearly.
