This course provides an introduction to the core concepts of statistics with a focus on
applications in business and economics. Students will learn how to collect, organize, and
summarize data, as well as how to interpret patterns and trends using both graphical and
numerical methods. The course also introduces probability as a tool for understanding
uncertainty, and develops key ideas in statistical inference, including estimation and hypothesis
testing. In addition, students will explore relationships between variables through regression
analysis. Emphasis is placed on practical problem-solving and real-world applications, helping
students build confidence in analyzing data and making informed, data-driven decisions.
